GMF Saint-Vallier: augmenter la prise en charge sans nouveau médecin
Le GMF Saint-Vallier a présentement un objectif de prise en charge de 8000 patients. D’ici 2021, il ambitionne d’en accueillir 4000 de plus, sans l’ajout de nouveaux médecins qui sont aujourd’hui au nombre de six, dont trois à temps plein. - 10/04/2017
Projet Archimède à Québec: quand les IPS prennent leur place

La ministre Charbonneau a déposé un deuxième amendement au projet de loi 115. CHSLD: la création de «micromilieux» pour réduire la prise de médicaments
Depuis l’an dernier, un CHSLD de La Malbaie regroupe dans une même unité les résidents qui présentent un profil similaire. Appelée «projet micromilieu», l'initiative a eu pour effet de réduire la consommation de médicaments, l'anxiété et l’agressivité chez les patients. - 07/04/2017
Hausse inquiétante des cas déclarés de syphilis congénitale en 2016 au Québec
L’an dernier, trois cas de syphilis congénitale concernant des mères de moins de 30 ans, provenant de trois régions distinctes du Québec, ont été déclarés. «Ce chiffre est nettement plus élevé qu’attendu, alors que quatre cas d’acquisition locale ont été déclarés entre 2000 et 2015.» - 07/04/2017

Diabète de type 2: une thérapie génique réduirait les risques de crise cardiaque
Une thérapie génique pourrait venir en aide aux personnes souffrant de diabète de type 2 et qui, de ce fait, présentent un risque élevé de crise cardiaque. En favorisant la croissance des vaisseaux sanguins, elle pourrait en effet contribuer à limiter ce risque, croient des chercheurs.
