La Capitale dispose désormais d'une deuxième superclinique. Il s'agit de la Cité médicale de Québec, où pratique d'ailleurs l'ancien ministre de la Santé, le Dr Yves Bolduc. La ministre fédérale de la Santé, Jane Philpott, a annoncé que son ministère donne son sceau d'approbation à l'exploitation de quatre nouveaux sites d'injection supervisée au pays, dont un de plus à Montréal.
