Médicaments psychotropes: Mieux s’informer pour prendre moins de médicaments
Alors que les Québécois prennent de plus en plus de comprimés de psychotropes, des organismes communautaires en santé mentale veulent les faire réfléchir sur leur consommation de médicaments. L’Association des pharmaciens du Canada publie six nouvelles recommandations
Afin d'éviter les effets néfastes sur les patients, l’Association des pharmaciens du Canada a publié, en collaboration avec la campagne Choisir avec soin, une liste de six recommandations sur lesquelles les pharmaciens devraient s’interroger pour améliorer la sécurité des patients et les résultats en matière de santé. - 21/11/2017
Santé: Barrette espère bâtir une base de données exhaustive d'ici 2 ans

La moitié des cliniques de médecine familiale fermées le soir et le week-end
D’après les calculs de la Coalition Avenir Québec, 52 % des 711 installations associées à un groupe de médecine familiale sont fermées après 18 h 30 en semaine, et 53 % sont fermées le week-end. - 20/11/2017
Le personnel médical serait moins porté à réanimer les nouveau-nés que les adultes
Une équipe de chercheuses de l'Université de Montréal a étudié l'approche du personnel médical de divers hôpitaux montréalais quand vient le temps de pratiquer des manoeuvres de réanimation sur des patients de différents âges. Et cela, dans une situation particulière: plusieurs patients arrivent en même temps dans une salle d'urgence, et il n'y a qu'un seul médecin: qui va-t-on sauver en priorité?
