Les Ontariens appuient majoritairement les réformes proposées par leur gouvernement afin de réduire le coût des médiaments génériques et de supprimer les allocations professionnelles versées aux pharmaciens propriétaires.
Après un projet pilote qui s'est déroulé en dents de scie, le volet des médicaments du Dossier de santé du Québec est prêt à être déployé dans la Région de Québec, a annoncé jeudi le ministre de la Santé.
Pour les pharmacies communautaires, la recommandation actuelle est de 30 ordonnances à l’heure par pharmacien et de quatre ATP pour un pharmacien. Or, ces recommandations ne sont plus adéquates.
La baisse anticipée des prix des médicaments génériques au Québec pourrait avoir un impact sur les services professionnels offerts en pharmacie communautaire, estime l'Association québécoise des pharmaciens propriétaires.
L’Ontario éliminera les allocations professionnelles aux pharmaciens propriétaires et réduira les montants remboursés pour les médicaments génériques à 25 % du coût du médicament d’origine.
