IMS Brogan a remis ses prix annuels le 3 avril au cours d’une cérémonie visant à mettre en lumière la contribution de pharmaciens et de médecins du Québec à la formation continue de leurs pairs en matière de bon usage des médicaments.
L'OPQ, l’APES et l’AQPP ont conjointement publié un algorithme pour aider les pharmaciens à gérer les nombreuses ruptures d’approvisionnement de médicaments.
«Plus je parle avec mes membres, plus je constate à quel point leur rôle est central et stratégique. Ce serait la catastrophe s’il n’y avait pas de pharmaciens à l’heure actuelle dans les hôpitaux », déclare Linda Vaillant.
Bien qu’il se dise préoccupé par les ruptures d’approvisionnement des médicaments injectables, le ministre de la Santé affirme être sorti rassuré d’une rencontre avec l’équipe de Sandoz.
«C’est une crise sans précédent», affirme le pharmacien d'établissement Jean-François Bussières, à propos des ruptures d'approvisionnement en médicaments injectables de Sandoz Canada.
Ces recommandations visent à «minimiser les conséquences de la pénurie des médicaments en limitant les pertes de médicaments injectables», puisque «la situation pourrait durer plusieurs mois».
