Une superclinique ouvre à Sherbrooke; plusieurs cliniques ferment à Montréal
Pendant que s’ouvre une superclinique à Sherbrooke, des cliniques de médecins spécialistes mettent la clé sous la porte à Montréal. L’incertitude entourant les frais accessoires, dont le ministre Barrette a annoncé l’abolition dès janvier, est la raison qu’elles invoquent pour fermer boutique. - 21/12/2016

Patients âgés: mieux vaut être soigné par un médecin femme…
Pour assurer leur longévité, il semble que les patients de plus de 65 ans hospitalisés auraient tout intérêt à être soignés par une femme médecin. En effet, ils auraient alors 4% moins de risque de décéder prématurément dans les 30 jours que s'ils sont traités par un médecin homme. Ils auraient également 5 % moins de risque d’être réhospitalisés dans le mois suivant leur sortie. - 19/12/2016
Transferts fédéraux en santé: les provinces disent non
C’est non! Le Québec et le Reste du Canada rejettent l’offre d’Ottawa concernant le financement des soins de santé. Entouré de tous ses homlogues, le ministre de la Santé manitobain, Kelvin Goertzen a déclaré qu’il est illusoire de penser que l’enjeu du financement du système peut se régler après deux heures de négociation. Transferts en santé: Barrette et Leitao refusent d'avance l'offre d'Ottawa
Les ministres québécois des Finances et de la Santé se sont présentés à la réunion fédérale provinciale sur le financement des soins de santé, lundi matin, en dénonçant l'offre présentée par le gouvernement fédéral. Le ministre Barrette invitait Justin Trudeau à rappeler à l'ordre son ministre des Finances Bill Morneau ou à le remplacer. - 19/12/2016
Les transferts en santé prévus sont bien inférieurs aux vœux des provinces
Plusieurs ministres provinciaux ont dénoncé dimanche ce qu'ils perçoivent comme un ultimatum du gouvernement Trudeau au sujet des négociations sur les transferts fédéraux en santé. Ils ont soutenu que la dernière offre du gouvernement fédéral est encore plus néfaste aux différents budgets provinciaux en matière de santé que les promesses électorales élaborées par les libéraux en 2015. - 15/12/2016

L’Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec a publié sur son site Web une nouvelle version de son document de référence Standards de pratique, «un document élaboré dans le but d’encadrer la pratique actualisée des pharmaciens du Québec». La précédente et première version datait de décembre 2010. - 15/12/2016
