Le Dr Yves Robert nommé directeur général du Collège des médecins
Dans la foulée de la Loi 11, le Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) a nommé le Dr Yves Robert à titre de directeur général. Le Dr Robert assumera encore son poste de secrétaire. - 30/01/2018

La statine en prévention primaire a peu d’effet chez les aînés, conclut une récente étude
Une nouvelle étude parue dans le Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) le 22 janvier dernier ravive le débat sur la prise de statine en prévention primaire. Selon l'étude, qui cible les personnes âgées de 65 ans et plus, il n’y a pas de différence significative quant au risque de maladie cardiovasculaire entre une personne qui prend une statine et une autre qui n’en prend pas. - 30/01/2018

Inauguration d’un programme de maîtrise de pharmacothérapie avancée en Mauricie
La Mauricie contribuera dorénavant à la formation des pharmaciens résidents en pharmacothérapie avancée alors qu’un programme de maîtrise, offert en partenariat avec l’Université Laval, a été inauguré, jeudi dernier.
