Les poumons de donneurs atteints de l'hépatite C sont transplantés avec succès
Depuis octobre, des chirurgiens de l'Hôpital général de Toronto ont effectué des greffes chez 11 patients dans le cadre d'une étude expérimentale visant à évaluer l'innocuité de l'utilisation de poumons provenant de donneurs infectés par l'hépatite C, une idée jusqu'alors indéfendable.
